For Restoration. Mahogany George III chest having a serpentine front, four graduating drawers, scalloped apron, oval drop handle pulls, canted corners, satinwood geometric and dark string inlays and inlaid escutcheons.
Condition: The Chest is being sold as a piece requiring restoration as there are several losses; Age-related loss to left leg, loss to right corner top drawer, loss to back right corner and front top edge; additionally, lacking a key, missing three bales, old repairs and scratches to top consistent with age. There are antique locks but no key. Still retains a period Georgian presentation.
