A fine George III Sheraton period serpentine chest of drawers or commode in pale, beautifully figured mahogany with attractive barbers pole stringing and partridgewood cross-banding; original cast loop handles still with some of their gilding intact; the quarter-turned and boxwood-reeded column corners with stop-fluted inlay, fitted top drawer with hinged ink drawer. The top right back corner with small repair.
