About the Item
Mid 19th century Swedish birch chest of drawers circa 1860.
Good quality Swedish commode, fitted with 3 near equally sized drawers that open on the key.
Rectangular top with moulded edge, with the 3 drawers running directly below, rounded edges to the front sides. Standing on rounded block feet. Working locks and key.
Recently re-polished by hand in our workshop to maintain it's original golden colour. Minor restorations to woodwork, minor surface marks, minor evidence of dead inactive/treated worm. Slight natural warping to drawer fronts, functional piece of furniture ready for everyday use.
