A truly stunning and well made piece, the timber patina is simply glorious and in the right light glows, it looks to be be West Indies Rosewood which at the time of harvest was being imported by the finest cabinet makers in England, Gillows
This desk is one of the best antiques because it remains useful and functional today, they make interesting and important looking pieces of furniture and can be used as laptop tables
The condition is excellent, we have deep cleaned hand condition waxed and hand polished it from top to bottom, there will be age and use related patina marks here and there but nothing to note, it honestly look amazing, I don't have any of the original keys I'm afraid but they can be made by the new owner
