George Nakashima "Origins" Widdicomb Walnut Tall Chest Dresser 1962

About the Item

George Nakashima tall chest for Widdicomb's "Origins" line of furniture that was manufactured between 1958 - 1963. This is an Interesting example with a strongly figured burl door dated 4/62 and stenciled as a model #214. The dresser/ tall chest has a stack of 7 drawers for every necessity along with four small drawers for personal storage. The case rests. on a pair of splayed bases and is in excellent vintage condition.
