Original Condition Industrial Era Beer Cooler from Bern-Wabern Switzerland

About the Item

An early 20th century beer cooler in original mustard paint from Switzerland. Large and very solid construction with Three doors all having the original Iron/Steel door-pulls in working condition, the interior with Tin Lining and one fixed shelf. The Doors are thick with layers of insulating wood and there is a drainage hole located Center Bottom. The central cooler door has the original label stating, “Braueri zum Gurten/ Wabern-Bern/ No. 49”. Protective Glass Top with beveled edge and rounded corners. Dimensions:66.5” wide by 31.5” deep by 37.75” high. Condition: Please see all detail photos. Original condition with some corner loss on the left side-facing front corner (shown in photo) and expected age-borne finish losses to the Painted finish, age related wood losses (shown in photos) and some scratching to the Glass Top which do not detract from the great and authentic presentation.
