About the Item
A light-grey, white antique Sweden Gustavian two part bureau with a writing flap made of hand crafted painted Pinewood, in good condition. The Scandinavian writing table, desk is composed with two upper doors, three large drawers and many small storage spaces, enhanced by detailed wood carvings. The secretary represents the Neoclassical Greek style with the original brass hardware and key. Minor fading, due to age. Wear consistent with age and use. Circa 1790, Sweden, Scandinavia.
