19th Century Mahogany English Secretary, Bookcase

19th century Mahogany English secretary bookcase was beautifully handcrafted from exotic imported mahogany which creates the primary visual impact of this stately piece! Solid brass drawer pulls and key guards add a nice accent, as does the geometric mentions around the upper glazed bookcase section. The slant-front drops down to reveal a surprisingly spacious work area with cubby holes and a cabinet whose door is inlaid with satinwood and walnut for sheer opulence. Spacious exterior drawers below ensure plenty of volume for storage, circa 1890s. Measures 89 H x 43.5 W x 23 D, desk surface 31 H.
