About the Item
Two-door Bonheur du Jour ladies' secretaire standing on tall, tapered legs with brass sabots, featuring a leather-covered writing surface in the lower drawer and compartments for inkwells and penholders. The writing surface slides open to reveal additional storage space underneath. Below the mirrored doors are two more drawers. These are flanked by half columns with brass bases and capitals. The interior compartment consists of a shelf. The top is formed by a drawer and a red marble top. The cabinet is veneered in mahogany and hand polished.
