Secretary à battant - Jean-Francois Dubut Elaborately crafted bureau à battant, Paris circa 1760, Transition, Jean-Francois Dubut rosewood, amaranth, violet and ebony veneered on oak and elaborately marquetry, the body with arched sides with two fields with flower bouquets (peonies), the front with two sections on slightly flared feet with gilt bronze fittings, the flap with elaborate trophy with musical instruments and sheet music, the top with marble top restored condition, shellac hand polish Dimensions: height 126 cm, width 79 cm, depth 37 cm
