About the Item
This unusual secretary is a special find. The remarkable folk art painted finish is all original, with a traditional faux wood motif in brown and brick red trimmed in a carved and painted leaf motif around the top.
The interior desk is painted green and holds 20 drawers with central cubbie and the drop down desk top. A monogram and date of 1847 is seen along the front when closed.

This entire folk art secretary has been restored and waxed so it is strong, stable and ready to be used.
