About the Item

Maria Zachariae outdoor 'Pantry Module 1' in limestone and teak for Skagerak Skagerak was founded in 1976 by Jesper and Vibeke Panduro, who took inspiration from their love of Scandinavian design and its rich tradition. The brand emphasizes sustainability by using responsibly sourced materials and production methods that minimize waste and reduce environmental impact. Each piece of handcrafted furniture is designed to age with grace and last for generations. The 'Pantry Module' was designed to be a versatile work station, both indoors and out. Built with two shelves to store utensils, crafting tools or your pots & soil, the Pantry Module is capped with a limestone top that is sanded smooth to accentuate the beautiful matte surface - perfect to hold your favorite outdoor portable lantern. The result is a delightful and practical addition of a workspace. Executed in FSC Certified teak and natural Swedish limestone to the exacting standards of Skagerak. Price per item. Available to order in unlimited quantities and in two sizes as the Pantry Module 1 and Pantry Module 2 - please see our separate listing. This listing is for the Pantry Module 1 in teak and limestone. In stock lead time 2-3 weeks. Out of stock lead time can be an additional 3-4 weeks, or longer. Lead times and stock availability are subject to change at any time and without notice. Please inquire for current lead times prior to placing time sensitive orders. Please note that only one representative example of each item is shown in the images. Limestone varies from item to item due to the organic and handmade nature of their fabrication. The limestone used is untreated and has a light sand grey color with warm nuances. Since the material has a porous and open surface structure it is receptive to grease, stains and acid. Over time, and with use, it will eventually embrace a beautiful patina adding to the uniqueness of each piece. Made to order. All sales final.

Shelving unit designed by Achille Castiglioni in 1991. Castiglioni is said to ponder a lot on lost space. The frame is made of four slender pillars with square cross-sec-tions in between to support the square shelves...
