1910's Victorian Metal Frame Warehouse Pigeon Hole Rack 1910's Victorian Metal Frame Warehouse Racking . A few weeks ago we heard about a derelict brickworks outside Hull that was being cleared. The works had been producing bricks for over two hundred years although it sadly stopped production in the 1970's. The yard was left untouched for over 50 years and fell into a pretty grim state. Fortunately the original turn of the century maintenance shed had been sealed up and was untouched. The shed housed an extraordinary batch of industrial pigeon hole storage units that were used to house the spare parts for the steam engine that powered the site. This is one of the few metal racks that we salvaged, a heavy eight steel frame with six original numbered wooden pigeon...
