Established in 2006, Morentz has a team of approximately 55 restorers, upholsterers, interior advisers and art historians, making it a gallery, workshop and upholstery studio, all in one. Every day, a carefully selected array of 20th-century furniture arrives from all over the world at the firm’s warehouse, where the team thoroughly examines each piece to determine what, if any, work needs to be done. Exceptional piece of furniture in oak and oak veneer very lightly sanded. Sideboard for a gallery, unique piece by De Coene, 1940s. The rectangular body rests on double corner legs and has a contoured top in a slight overflow the two doors on the left and right are made of slatted panels with very nicely finished hanging of the doors in bronze hardware the middle door is covered in leather finished with brass knobs that accentuate the 1940s.
