About the Item

George VI oak pot board from England with mahogany banding. The top of this lovely piece is made from oak and is banded with mahogany and a beveled and molded edge, following down to simple sides and two banks of two drawers each flanking a single central drawer over a pierced archway. The pot board is supported by four turned legs in the front and two simple legs in the back for easy placement against the wall. The legs are connected by a lower shelf, which has a simple skirt beneath with bracket feet.
