Mid century Swedish inlaid elm sideboard

About the Item

Mid century Swedish inlaid elm sideboard circa 1940. Swedish sideboard very much in the art deco taste.  High board with rounded ends, veneered in elm. Below the top surface the piece is decorated with a burr walnut border, finished with inlaid birch swags to the central doors, each of which have been fitted with ornate brass handles.  Central double door cupboard houses a partially fitted interior of a bank of 3 drawer slides and 2 shelves.  Each curved single door cupboard contains 3 shelves all fitted with a lipped edge. Raised on 4 tapered legs. Recently fully restored and hand polished in our workshop, minor surface fading and restorations to woodwork.
