About the Item
Designed by Mimo Padova in the 1970s, this pair of sculptural ‘Velasquez’ lounge chairs channels the bold spirit of Italian postmodernism. Upholstered in a plush camel toned chenille, the chairs feature exaggerated curves, low slung proportions, and wide silhouettes that feel both cozy and commanding. Their oversized arms and deep tufted backs give them a playful, almost cartoonish presence, while maintaining a refined, high design edge. A rare and expressive duo from one of Italy’s more experimental eras of lounge seating.
