A small Swedish Transitional painted wood sideboard from the late 18th century, with fluted motifs and cabriole legs. Created in Sweden during the last decade of the 18th century, this painted sideboard features a rectangular top with canted corners, sitting above a single drawer. A pair of double doors below, adorned with fluted motifs, open to reveal a convenient storage compartment. Raised on cabriole legs in the front and straight ones in the back, the sideboard boasts a painted finish with wood coming through. With its elegant lines and distressed appearance, this Swedish Transitional painted sideboard circa 1790 will bring a touch of subtle elegance to any home!
