About the Item

A nice example of an English Queen Anne mahogany hand carved card or game table with shell carved cabriole legs with pad feet, single frieze drawer with original hardware. Opens to reveal a baize or felt top with carved counter wells. The card table dates to the 18th century and is in very good condition, with a small loss on the gate leg joint, other minor imperfections, and light wear commensurate with age and use. Dimensions: Closed: 27.75 in H x 31 in W x 16 in D; Open: 27 in H x 31 in W x 30 in D. Ref: 8
