19th century rococo revival Swedish birch tea table

About the Item

19th century rococo revival Swedish birch tea table circa 1890. Elegant and beautiful quality Swedish folding tea table made in birch.  Shaped top surface which twists and opens out to form a near square surface.  While still folded but having been rotated, a shallow storage well is revealed. Standing on 4 cabriole shaped legs, which showcase the grain of the timber. Recently restored and re-polished in our workshop, 1 restored age split to 1 leg, which has been photographed. Minor surface marks to woodwork.
