About the Item
A very rare and fine pair of 19th Century inlaid mahogany card tables in excellent condition. Line inlaid throughout and with exquisite marquetry detail depicting Neoclassical motifs. The shaped and moulded cross banded top with curved canted corners, decorated with a beautiful marquetry radiating fan motif, folding back to reveal green baize fitted section. The frieze with swags of bell husks and ribbon bow detail supported on elegant slender tapering leg terminating on brass casters.
