19th century, French Extending Wood Table Measures H 77 x W 160 x D 140 cm (closed) H 77 x W 160 x D 260 cm (open with two extensions) This wood table was made in France in the 19th century. The top is oval when closed. With the addition of one or two shelves, not coeval, 60 cm wide, which can also be mounted individually, the table top can be expanded. The four legs have an inverted cone trunk and are decorated with chiseled and gilded bronzes. The table is very elegant and refined. It can be easily placed in a living room or in a dining room and its predisposition to be expanded or reduced facilitates its use for any situation. Its simple and sophisticated line allows it to be combined with antique or modern furniture, perfect alongside any style and furnishing situation.
