19th Century Siena & Tinos Green Marble Tabletop

About the Item

A unique 19th century Siena marble tabletop, inlaid with white marble to create a chequerboard pattern and surrounded by a Tinos green border. Perfect for creating your very own centre or coffee table, this marble tabletop showcases a beautiful variety of natural marble patterns, the Siena’s golden tones stylishly contrasted by the contrasting deep green Tonos border. You could just image this reclaimed tabletop as vibrant and organic centrepiece of a modern interior, the linear chequerboard pattern complementing the angular, clean lines of a contemporary property. Inscribed to the reverse: ‘Restored by E. D. Rulton, 1966’.
