A part of Fort Standard’s “Qualities of Material” collection, the Assemblage side table is made from many thin, hard maple slats. The slats are assembled into the vertically oriented triangular tubes that make up the surface and extruded legs.

“Qualities of Material” is a limited edition collection launched in 2016 by Fort Standard that explores natural materials to push them beyond their conventional limits and applications. The collection investigates the properties of wood, stone and leather by employing specific material characteristics to create structural designs in the context of furniture.
