An exceptional early 18th century Italian Baroque console table. Demonstrating its original rich green paint with gilded detailing throughout. Displaying an inset rouge marble top above a shaped apron with scrolling acanthus decoration. Raised on exquisite knee carved cabriole supports terminating in claw and ball feet. Measures: Height 88cm Width 78cm Depth 60cm.

Console tables are beautiful, graceful tables that also serve a practical purpose. These tables are aligned against a wall, often between two windows and/or placed beneath a mirror. You might find accessories or artwork resting on the marble or wooden tops.
