About the Item
A Neoclassical Style Console with a sophisticated Painted and Gilt finish. Believed to be originally from Italy and re-imagined with fresh Gilding and Paint. The top in variegated paint on brown having intentional distressing over a painted and gilt frieze and legs. The frieze with Pale Blue painted panels with carved and gilt scrolls and center leaf with pendant gilt swag. The ends with blue squares and gilt rosettes. Raised on fluted legs in blue and white with gilt bands and swags.
