A French Mid-century Modern Neoclassical wrought iron and rattan console or sofa table circa 1970 in the spirit of Jean-Michel Frank. The console can also function as a desk or buffet and is a rare eye-catching combination of strength and delicacy. The piece features a classic X frame wrought iron stretcher, an inlaid rattan drawer for storage, rattan aprons and a delicate cross-hatched pattern rattan top. In sum, an interesting object that mixes materials and a functional piece.
