Pair of Italian 18th Century Louis XVI Period Patinated and Mecca Consoles

About the Item

An extremely decorative pair of Italian 18th century Louis XVI period patinated and mecca consoles. Each console is raised by elegant square tapered fluted legs with fine carved feet. The frieze is centered by a richly carved Mecca rosette also repeated at the sides and above each leg, framed in a fine Mecca fillet. The wonderfully executed original hand painted faux marble top is attached with the original hardware. All original patina and mecca throughout.
