Peana, which in English translates to base or pedestal, is a series of tables and different surfaces inspired by the idea of creating worthy furniture pieces to place and exhibit your most cherished possessions.
Side Board reveals the soft curved legs that characterizes the sophistication of Peana. Available in different finishes: black tinted oak, natural oak and red tinted oak.
The solid wood hides beneath its apparently simple form a soft edge beneath the top, a continuously soft curve that stops unexpectedly on both sides and delicately placed angled legs, resulting in a classic but sophisticated piece, revealed only to those who take time to appreciate their surroundings.

Joel Escalona is a Mexican designer, difficult to define with a single word.
