19th-Century Pine Lap Desk Inlaid with Mother-of-Pearl

About the Item

19th-Century Pine Lap Desk Inlaid with Mother-of-Pearl A small and lined with a fabric lap desk. There are compartments for documents under both sides of the writing surface. Another compartment for writing accessories is above the surface. The front wall, as well as the lid of the writing desk are inlaid and encrusted with mother-of-pearl. All made of pine veneered with walnut burl. This piece is after renovation and finished in shellac.
