Achille Castiglioni & Paolo Ferrari Desk 'Quark' in Black Lacquered Wood

About the Item

Achille Castiglioni & Paolo Ferrari for BBB Bonacina, desk 'Quark', black lacquered wood, Italy, 1982 Like other table designs of Achille Castiglioni & Paolo Ferrari shows the desk 'Quark' the remarkable design of the legs. Each leg consists of a vertical leg that is joined by a diagonal slat that forms a triangle. Due to this composition the design gets an architectural appearance. The 'Quark' desk has four of these legs that lift up a rectangular top. Additionally, is a triangular shelf adjusted on both sides which allows the user to store on top as well as inside the triangle. All pieces are made from white lacquered wood.
