About the Item

Antique Italian Renaissance Executive Desk with Faux Leather is the perfect choice for a timeless Old World decor. Hand-carved in walnut, it features a beveled edge all around the newly installed faux leather top, with intricate foliate designs on the entire apron all around. This makes the piece a great choice for placement in the center of the room if so desired. Two spacious drawers fitted with steel ring pulls provide plenty of storage. The most eye-catching feature, however, is the pair of supports on each end, elegantly carved and embellished by a true master wood sculptor, with acanthus leaf forms dominating the design. The supports are connected with a carved trestle that is actually mortised and shimmed in the traditional method dating back centuries. Truly a work designed to make your friends envious!
