About the Item

A charming diminutively sized English kneehole desk. It was not originally made for a child but could be used as such as well as for an adult. Repainted sympathetically in a dark blue/black colour. The desk has useful deep side drawers (three on each side) with one long drawer along the top and one inside the kneehole.All the drawers are fitted with top handles. A shallow slide shelf is fitted above the small cupboard in the kneehole. Also works as a side table.
