We are is delighted to offer for sale this absolutely stunning original Victorian circa 1880 James Jas Shoolbred Watchmakers table / desk with green marble top
A good looking and well-made piece, the timber frame is late Victorian and has a glorious mahogany grain to it, the wood really glows in the right light, the desk has two drawers, one is open and plain, the other is blue velour lined with lots of sections, as mentioned this was a watchmakers desk. The tabletop is nice and solid being green marble, it is wonderfully veined
The left drawer is fully stamped Jas Shoolbred & Co and the right has the order number
We have lightly cleaned waxed and polished it, there is nothing negative to note its just a really good honest antique
