Kroma' Desk by Antonia Astori for Driade, Italy 1980s

About the Item

A 1980s ‘Kroma’ desk designed by Antonia Astori for Driade. This modern desk embodies a minimalist aesthetic, featuring a rectangular white surface composed of wood with fine black linear detailing along its edges. The desk is supported by a unique combination of a solid panel leg on one side and a cylindrical metal pedestal on the other, providing both stability and an airy appearance. Italy, 1980s. In 1968, she co-founded Driade with her brother Enrico and sister-in-law Adelaide Acerbi. Antonia Astori has crafted timeless modern furniture with unparalleled mastery – designing a diverse range of pieces, including dining tables, desks, serveware, and modular storage units that optimize space while making a striking visual impact.
