Vintage Mid-Century Modern Danish Style Circular Writing Table with Drawer
Located in Lomita, CA
This is a circular mid-century modern table (unattributed) in the Danish style. It is beautiful in form, finish and function. The writing table has been refinished. It has a molded rail fitted with a drawer with two pulls that are original. The table rests on four down-curved legs ending in brass cuffs. It is constructed of cherrywood and is from the 1950s. The restored condition is excellent. The table is otherwise reflective of a vintage piece that presents extremely well for its age. There are no chips, scratches or dings in the wood finish. Jens Risom: wood desk, manufactured by Risom Design. 1960s.

Bold and colorful, this desk will add style and character too your working day. Poul Henningsen designed this masterpiece in 1935. A harmony of striking aesthetics and practicality, PH’s design features a desktop painted in high gloss, six swing drawers, panels covered in leather, together with chromed legs.
