Born in New York City and raised upstate, William majored in studio art at Colgate University with a year abroad in Paris, graduating with honors. In 2001, he traveled to Buenos Aires and fell in love with the culture and craftsmanship instantly. He designed his first collection soon after and opened an art and design gallery in Los Angeles. A decade later, he came home to New York and now has a studio in the famed West Chelsea Arts Building where his works blur the lines between art and functional design. The team of artisans continue to produce the majority of the furniture in Argentina.
