About the Item

Osvaldo Borsani & Eugenio Gerli, Graphis line for Tecno, Desk, Walnut, Italy, 1968. Osvaldo Borsani & Eugenio Gerli created together the "Graphis" system in 1968. The series was launched at the XIV Triennale di Milan in the same year and started a new era of modular, adaptable office furniture. Graphis marked Tecno's definitive shift to serial production, aligning with the growing need for flexible, scalable workspaces. The system's minimalist components-rectangular and circular desktops, panel bases, and support angles-could be combined and expanded to accommodate evolving office demands. A standout piece in the Graphis collection is this elegant walnut desk with a curved top that adds subtle dynamism to its otherwise geometric structure. The desk eliminated traditional legs, instead featuring side panels joined at precise 90-degree angles, creating a striking architectural form. A central drawer enhanced functionality, while its modular design allowed identical desks to be placed together, forming cohesive workstations. We accurately check the quality of every object. Our in-house expert craftsmen carefully reviewed the item.
