About the Item
Antique Country French Desk or Dining Room Table from the 1800's. We acquired our Antique Desk from a noted Interior Designer so we unfortunately do not know much of the Antique French Desk or Antique French Country Dining Table. What we have determined is that the table most likely dates from the mid-1800's and was hand-made using French cherry wood and over the course of many decades has seen a number of repairs. Rather than disrupt the wonderful patina and refinish the Antique Desk, we thought it more prudent to leave the finish original and we can always have our workshop refinish it for you if you'd like? Please take note of the handy drawers that were common in old French Dining Tables.

Antique English Farmhouse Dining Table made from extremely rare Scottish Oak and at first glance, you would have thought the antique English Dining Table was produced from mahogany, until you take a harder second look. We have been importing from the UK for over 30-years and this is the only Antique Dining Table or Farm Table we have ever seen created from solid Scottish Oak and it is truly breathtaking. Our Old Plank finishing department washed-off the old rather tired finish and applied a very light colour stain that would highlight the incredible grain pattern of the Scottish Oak. The Scottish Oak that was used for the Antique Dining Table base is as interesting and beautiful as the Scottish oak used for the dining tables top. After lightly colouring the Oak, our Old Plank finishers applied by hand an old school English Polish, that is both beautiful and at the same time very durable.
