About the Item
Handsome 20th century French provincial style farmhouse dining table crafted from oak. The table features a two-inch thick rectangular top supported by a trestle base with double turned legs on each end. The legs are conjoined by a long stretcher having mortise and tenon joinery and end with 6 inch thick shoe feet. The unique turned legs have a Louis Philippe inspiration and give the table a unique profile. Very heavy and sturdy with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The finish has a rich, aged patina that showcases the wood grains.
