Exceptional 18th Century Walnut Continental Extension Dining Table
About the Item
A fine Extension Table with an extraordinary and Rustic presentation. The Table, with peg construction, features two self-storing pull-out leaves with interesting cut angle banding which the top shares also. The Table base with turned and carved supports resting on a full surround Plank frame resting on Bun Feet. The whole table in a particularly soft hand in a pleasing medium tone color. The Table comes with a fine embroidered damascene Table Runner in olive velvet and silk featuring foliate motifs and end tassels.
The Table measures: 59.75” wide by 37” deep by 30.75” high. The two leaves are each 22.5” wide.
The Table top fully open is 105” long.
Condition: Please see detail photos. The table has expected signs of great age including stable age cracks, some worming, various old stains, slight warping, scratches and marks to the top, The leaves are darker than the top due to many years of interior storage in the table. All of the aforementioned is for accuracy as the table presents in an exceptional antique and rustic manner.
