Mid-Century Italian Cactus Shaped Dining Table Stainless Steel Veneer 1970s

About the Item

Exceptional round dining table with thick glass top and solid wood base, veneered with stainless steel. The stainless steel pallet veneer finish consists of alternating matte and shiny sections, giving the table a particularly striking appearance. The veneer is made of matte brushed and shiny polished stainless steel. The generous cactus shape of the base is both artistic and clearly architectural in design. The table is not easy to photograph, as everything is reflected in the shiny, rounded parts of the base and the light is refracted, but that is precisely what makes the table so special in reality. It has a very cubic and austere appearance, but the mixture of surfaces gives it an extremely impressive and modern look. It is an absolute eye-catcher in both the kitchen and the dining room. The table could also accommodate a larger glass top. The dimensions of the base are: 73 x 74.5 cm.
