Elegant multi use versatile extension 19th century mahogany Sheraton three-part banquet table with turned legs.
American, circa 1820.
Maximum length 12 feet. 47” deep 29” high. Knee clearance from floor to the skirt is 24“.
The center section extends to 61” long x 47” d, and can be used on its own with its 6 legs. This size is the scale most often used unless entertaining a large group. It can also be used as a console table- 20.5”D x 47”W- with both of the leaves down.
The banquet ends are each 41.5” long with 4 legs apiece; when joined together they make a table 83” in length. You can make 2 separate console tables of 21”D x 47”W from the banquet ends by dropping the leaves.
All of the leaves are supported by gate legs, which allows for many different seating configurations.
Refinished in 1997, this table is in good condition, with some age appropriate wear/ scratches.
