About the Item

An unusual demilune games table with kingwood and rosewood lattice pattern on the top and herringbone pattern on the apron and legs, and having brass leaf bands on the legs and the feet ending in brass leaf sabbots. The lift top opens to reveal Brazilian rosewood playing surface with satinwood string inlay and crossbanding of Brazilian rosewood. A beautiful quality table in the manner of Maison Jensen, France, second quarter of the 20th century. When fully open the diameter of the table measures 40.25 inches.
