Sheraton Mahogany Game Table w/ Reeded Legs Serpentine Top Acanthus Leg Carvings
About the Item
This handsome Sheraton swing leg game table offers mahogany construction with a flip top. Features include turned reeded legs ending in circular end cap, carved acanthus tops in front and beautifully carved serpentine front top and sides. Gorgeous matched flamed mahogany aprons. Lovely grain throughout with original finish.
When extended it measures thirty two inches across.
Only one leg swings. If you slide it out half way at an angle it will easily support the table and three people can sit regularly with the fourth sitting slightly to the side or straddling the leg. Two sides have an apron- when open it has 25 inches clearance. The two open sides measure 28.5 clearance. The measurement in the front with the two legs in between is 26.5 inches- Two of the sides are "floating" so there is no restriction- the forth side is the one you would have to sit to the side.
