19th century Kashmir Papier Mache hand painted stand
We are proud to offer a late 19th century Kashmir hand painted papier Mache plant stand. Hand crafted on barley twisted brass legs with hoof feet, with centre floral and bird motif décor sections. The base of this stand is made from papier Mache and hand painted with floral designs typical in the Kashmir style. A unique decorative and functional object with a great interior design look.

Condition: Aged
Completely solid in structure and form, faded in areas with aging across the surface as shown. The hand painted surface is aged in sections with the edges worn revealing the material underneath. The brass legs are aged with a deep patina, one leg is slightly bent but this does not affect the balance of this stand. With aged repairs in sections, the brass hoof feet show a deep patina, with splits in sections as shown. Its exceedingly difficult to photograph all the areas in this piece, therefore we strongly suggest reviewing all the photos provided as part of this advert and propose questions where sections are unclear to avoid disappointment.
