Pair of Antique Chinese Side Tables. An exquisite pair of Elm wood Qing Dynasty Side Tables. Floating panel tops sent in a flush frame with "Oval Window Stretchers" having straight legs with scrolled hoof feet. Stunning from any angle the oval window with raised Beaded edge detail adds refinement that is continued, accenting the frame shape and legs. This is an elegant pair of tables in very good condition from early 20th century ca 1900-1910, end of Qing Dynasty. Solid Elm wood, color is ebonized very dark brown appearing black from distance, each table weighs about 45lbs.

This diminutive low decorative cabinet was placed on the kang, a raised heated platform used as living space in cold climates.
