Art Deco Side Style Table in Oak with Ebony Veneer and Bronze Inlays

About the Item

Wood side table with round tops and made from ebony veneer with bronze inlays. This table was titled after the famous building Palais de Tokyo in Paris, dedicated to modern and contemporary art. This cultural palace was built in the 1930s. We were inspired by the proportions of Empire style and wanted to use ebony wood which is very representative in Art Deco furniture. American Empire is a French-inspired Neoclassical style of American furniture and decoration that takes its name and originates from the Empire style introduced during the First French Empire period under Napoleon's rule. One of the most recognizable features of this particular style were curved forms as well as the use of woods like mahogany and ebony. Custom sizes are available, you can inquire via message.
