About the Item

Born of the collaboration between a Parisian antiques dealer and a rural Vietnamese artists' community, these sculptural furniture pieces are made with a newly created, sturdy mixture of papier mâché. Rather than using fiberglass, which is harmful to both artisan and environment, the artists of Atelier Saigon have created a natural material to match the subject. Handmade without the use of a mold.
