About the Item
A fine cabinet- made small scale center table with a circular top. The top is mounted on a figured wood frieze with two drawers alternating with the frieze panels. The drawers have fine oval brass bales with American spread eagle motifs holding shields and perched on laurel branches surrounded by stars.
With an elegant turned support with a leaf carved baluster center on a turned base. Raised on angular figured wood legs reeded on the ends and terminating in carved lion paw feet.
Dimensions: 22" diameter x 29" high
Condition: Please review the detail photos. The top has expected marks, discoloration and some old gouges and scratches from age and normal use. There are some scrapes on the lion paw feet but are minor. Overall a nice example of the style and a useful size.
